Thunderbird is Holiday World’s first steel roller coaster, which opened earlier this year on April 24. Thunderbird is also the 4th steel wing coaster in the United States and the 8th around the world.

The cool thing about this wing coaster is that it features the tallest vertical loop of all the wing coasters in the world, reaching a height of 125 feet. The coaster contains a total of 4 spectacular inversions.

The ride was designed by Bolliger & Mabillard, this is their first launching coaster built in-house and the first launching roller coaster they have built in 16 years.
