Rougarou

Rougarou, located at Cedar Point, is a rebuild of a stand-up roller coaster, Mantis, that operated from 1996 to 2014. Mantis was transformed into a floorless coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard. The newly redesigned roller coaster, now known as Rougarou, was opened in May of 2015. The name Rougarou comes from a legendary creature, known as the werewolf, in France.

This coaster has some awesome inversions like its dive loop at a height of 103 feet. My favorite is the inclined loop (a standard loop tilted at a 45 degree angle) that’s connects to a 360 degree turn. The ride finishes with a corkscrew and a figure eight turn before coming to a halt.
