Batwing is a ride themed after Batman’s jet – the Batwing. The coaster starts out by tilting you backwards into a lay-down position before it leaves the station and travels backwards when leaving the station. The coaster gives you the experience of flying in the Batwing by getting flipped around as the ride goes through twists, turns, and loops with a total force of 4.3 G’s. The ride doesn’t handle cold weather well so it only operates during times when it is not too cold outdoors.
